The Queen VS The Purse Nazi/Boss Hog Tag Team

Last month I told you guys about my awesome and totally unnovel idea of selling outlet deals on Ebay with my sister/apprentice.

We decided the first order of business was to go to the Coach, Dooney, and Kate Spade outlets and see what was out there and if the stuff was cheap enough to make out flipping it.

Our plan was to lull the babies into a carb induced mellow with a case of goldfish crackers.

Unfortunately, our outlet is outdoors, totally stupid in Chicago. We were prepared though - thick coats, baby snowsuits, blankets, double stroller, plus single stroller, diaper bags, pallet of Pepperidge Farm crackers and we were ready to rock.

First we went to Coach Outlet.

We went through the clearance shelves and looked at every single purse.

Soon we realized there was no way to remember the name of every style and how much it was so I had the brilliant idea of text messaging myself the names, prices and discount of the items that seemed good.

Next we schluffed over to Dooney.

That's when we met her . . . The purse Nazi.

She runs the Dooney outlet like a 7-11 next door to a Junior High.

Grumpy and bitchy- acted like she was doing us the biggest favor in the world by doing a price check and staring at us the whole time.

We just ignored her and did the same thing as we did at Coach- went through every style especially those on clearance and touched, discussed and force fed the babies crackers all the way through.

Uncomfortable with discussing our Ebay options in front of the purse Nazi we went to the food court.

We were there about 5 minutes trying to predict the hot Spring color, when a heavy shadow fell across my aura.

"IS THERE SOMETHING I CAN HELP YOU WITH"

I turned to see Boss Hog the Mall Cop standing well within my personal space. Attempting to intimidate me.

I knew immediately from years of working retail that Seargent Hog thought I was a shoplifter. Fortunately for me though I love a good deal- the 5 finger discount is something I would not, could not and have never done.

So I didn't sweat it. "No thank you we are just trying to decide what to buy." I smiled at Piggly Wiggly and turned away from him.

My sister seemed completely oblivious.

I waited until we left to tell her she had just been felt out by a mall cop.

She was completely freaked and wanted to call the whole thing off- but like the good sister I am I made her face her fear and return to Dooney.
